Love my Eyes ~ Jane Iredale Eye Shadows

Yay for eye shadows! Eye shadows are like lipsticks and nail polishes, you can never have enough. While I don’t mind loose mineral eye shadows, I admit it is nice to have pressed. Especially when I am rushed in the morning, I just want to swipe and GO. I’m a big fan of Jane Iredale PurePressed eye shadows, and they just released new colors this spring! The two new shades of eye shadows I received are:

Dreamy Pink: medium pink with tan hues, with iridescent pink shimmer

Hush: light peachy pink with iridescent sheen

Here are the pans!

And here are swatches on my skin in both the sunlight and inside.

Jane Iredale - Hush Dreamy Pink

So Hush is what I would consider a highlight color. Of course, with my skin being so fair, it’s practically the same color as my skin! But for those with actual pigment to their skin (oooooh to have pigment to my skin), this is a highlight color. In the pan and in lower lighting, it looks matte. However,  in the sunlight, you can really see the shimmer.

Dreamy Pink is hard to describe. It’s sort of a medium pinky tan, but in sunlight it could almost be called a rose gold (more rose than gold). It really is a beautiful color. I love it on my fair skin because it’s not too dark and not too bright, but I think this would look nice on any skintone (fair or not). Inside it shows some shimmer and in the sunlight you can really see it.

You can see these both on my Spring Makeup Video Tutorial as well!

As for applying and wear, these are awesome. They apply very smoothly and blend well. I always wear a primer, and with it they last all day without creasing. At the end of the day, they look like I just applied them in the morning. I love it!

Overall, I’m loving these new colors!

What eye shadows are your favorite?

Disclosure: Samples were provided to me by Jane Iredale to try. Opinions and the choice to review are 100% my own! I’m not compensated for anything I write.
